When we are trying to look after our mental health, it can be confusing to know where to start. Sometimes we just need some new strategies and ideas about what to do to stay well.
Our community training programme aims to empower individuals by equipping them with new skills, knowledge and strategies that support them to look after their own mental health. Our community training workshops are open to all adults aged 18+ and are free of charge.
What can you expect to see?
We utilise the lived experience and expertise of our session trainers and staff to tailor a dynamic and responsive programme covering topics such as Anger, Confidence, Mindfulness, Food and Mood, ADHD Awareness, Menopause, Anxiety and Depression, Sleep and Self-Compassion.
The sessions are all delivered by our experienced sessional trainers, as well as partners from other local organisations. We listen to our community and respond to what they are asking for when planning our programmes. We would love to hear from you with your thoughts and ideas of what could be delivered in the future.
The benefits of community training:
- It promotes social inclusion by creating opportunities for you to learn, connect and participate with others.
- It supports you in learning more about yourself and others.
- It empowers you to look after your own mental health and wellbeing.
- It equips you with practical skills and knowledge that can be applied to real life.
