What is supported living?

Supported living services can help if you do not want to live in residential care but you’re finding it difficult to cope at home.
Some supported living homes are shared by people with a similar health problem, such as a mental health problem or a learning disability.

What support do we offer?

We provide supported living accommodation to individuals with mental health problems and learning disabilities who need assistance to live independently in the community.

We offer individually tailored packages of support to assist people to maintain their tenancy, gain life skills and lead more independent lives.
We aim to:

  • support service users through person-centered planning, promoting independence, equality, and rights
  • support people to enhance their skills, maximise their potential and encourage independence
  • support people to achieve realistic outcomes and goals
  • encourage and promote healthy lifestyles
  • support service users to take part in social, leisure and educational activities
  • support and encourage service users to become actively involved in their community
  • offer protection to vulnerable people at risk
